Why do I have to pay as soon as I have pre-ordered even though I won’t receive the device until a later date?

The payment methods Paypal, credit card and “Sofortüberweisung” charge the amount to you immediately. That is something we cannot change.

Of course, you are welcome to cancel your order now and re-order it again when we are ready to ship. However, by purchasing now, you are benefitting from our reduced pre-order price :-).
