We are not using your location for any service within our app. The Amabrush app scans nearby Amabrush toothbrushes via Bluetooth. Since Android version 6.0 (Android Marshmallow, Google's mobile operating system), Google treats requesting Bluetooth-scanning access the same way as requesting location services.
Therefore, Google requires developers to ask about permission for location when accessing the hardware identifiers of nearby external devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi scans, even if location data is not needed. We do not read, store or use your location data in any way. If you want to read about this topic in detail, please refer to the following official statement from Google at the following link: https://developer.android.com/about/versions/marshmallow/android-6.0-changes#behavior-hardware-id
